Peanut butter mousse

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Any dessert that takes just 5 ingredients and is ready in less than 10 minutes has a place in my heart. And the mousse is one of my favorite desserts! Until recently it was the chocolate mousse, but now the peanut butter mousse has taken the throne, is a REAL DELIGHT!

This mousse is super fluffy, and very rich. Do you like peanut butter? So you have to try this recipe, it’s a new way of eating peanuts haha.

The fluffy texture full of bubbles is thanks to the meringue, a honey meringue, without sugars, so in addition to full of protein is very healthy and creamy!

Do you dare to try the recipe? You will not regret! If the tests tell me, send me an email or comment in the blog post how it came out, if you liked it, or that you would change it, I would love to listen to the advice of those who try my recipes! And if you share a photo on your Instagram or stories tag me like @gaspic_healthyberry so I can see it and I’ll share you in my stories!

Do not forget to share the recipe in your networks and with your loved ones, they will appreciate it as much as I do!

Prep Time 10 minutes
Author Gaspar Carreira

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup raw pure honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil at room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl beat the egg whites until snow point, that is, when turning the bowl they do not fall. While in a small pot or in the microwave heat the honey, without it coming to boil.

  2. Pour the hot honey over the meringue and continue beating at high speed until the meringue has cooled completely.

  3. In another bowl, mix the peanut butter with the rest of the ingredients. Once the meringue is ready, pass the mixture with peanut butter to the bowl with the meringue and mix with a spatula with enveloping movements, the fewer movements you need the better, until it is completely integrated.

  4. Put the mousse on individual molds and let cool an hour
