Banoffee pie

This dulce de leche, banana and cream pie only has 6 ingredients, no oven is needed to make it and is ready in less than 20 minutes!

Ingredients
Crust
  • 2 cups vanilla cookies 200g
  • 1/3 cup melted butter 80ml
  • 3 Tbsp raw cane sugar
Filling
  • 1 1/2 cups dulce de leche 500g
  • 3 bananas
Cream
  • 1 cup whipping cream 200ml
  • 1/3 cup raw cane sugar 50g
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Grease a 20cm diameter round mold previously lined with parchment paper.

  2. Process or grind the cookies by hand until you have a powder, add the melted butter and sugar, mix and put in the mold. Press well against the base and edges.

  3. Cut the 3 bananas into 0.5cm wide slices. Fill the cake with 1/3 of the dulce de leche, add half of the banana slices, cover with 1/3 of the dulce de leche, bananas and cover with the remaining dulce de leche.

  4. Beat the cream (it must be very cold) at high speed with the sugar and vanilla until whipped. Put on the pie, grate dark chocolate on top, cool and enjoy!
