Beet bounty bars

Super delicious and nutritious bars with only 5 ingredients ... and chocolate!

  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream*
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 Tbsp beetroot powder**
  • 100 g dark chocolate at least 80%
  1. Process the coconut products and syrup or honey until a homogenous and sticky mixture is obtained. Add the beet powder and process again.

  2. Put the mixture in a square mold of 20x20. Press well and cool for 2 hours.

  3. Melt the chocolate, cut the bars and bathe each one of these. Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm again.

Recipe Notes

*Or you can use coconut milk refrigerated all night.

**You can replace it with two tablespoons of beet juice
